Annie Hawkins-Turner was born on December 22, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia. From a very young age she began experiencing excessive breast growth due to the medical condition known as gigantomastia, which causes abnormal enlargement of breast tissue. By age nine she was already wearing a bra size around 36D, setting her apart early and exposing her to teasing and isolation.
Despite the physical and emotional challenges of her condition, she embraced her uniqueness and entered modeling under the stage name “Norma Stitz”—a playful twist on “enormous tits.” She went on to set a world record: the Guinness World Records lists her as having the largest natural breasts in the world. Over her career, she leveraged her distinctive physique into a successful business venture, creating a website, modeling in fetish contexts, and securing financial independence.
Behind the fame however, Annie has been candid about the burdens: the daily stares, mockery, and physical difficulties of moving and resting with her very large breasts. While she could not breastfeed her children due to her condition—a regret she has acknowledged—she says she refuses breast reduction surgery because she says her body is how “God made me.” Her journey highlights both the stigma and the empowerment associated with having a highly unusual body.
Today, Annie presents herself not just as a record-holder, but as someone who has reclaimed control of her narrative. She turned what may have been a lifelong struggle into a platform of self-acceptance and business success. Though no amount of money can erase the years of ridicule she endured, she emphasizes pride in her identity: “I’m not ashamed … I’ve learned to love myself completely.”
