A TikTok creator has gone viral after sharing the unexpected side effects of his recent hair transplant, joking that the swelling left him looking like “an alien.”
Kanah Flex, a dancer and artist, documented his experience in a series of lighthearted TikTok posts that quickly captured attention. His candid humor resonated with viewers, turning what might have been a private recovery into a viral moment.
From the outset, Flex clarified that he did not travel overseas for the procedure — a detail many followers had assumed — instead choosing to undergo the cosmetic surgery locally. His playful approach to the recovery process has sparked widespread discussion, with fans applauding both his transparency and his ability to laugh at himself.
“For anyone wondering, no, I didn’t go to Turkey for this,” Kanah clarified in his TikTok video. “I had the procedure done right here in Wembley — Kenton, Harrow, to be exact.”
He went on to describe his experience at the clinic, noting that his day began with an early consultation around 8:30 a.m. After reviewing and signing the necessary waivers, he met with the surgeon to finalize the treatment plan. The focus, he explained, was not on his hairline, but rather the crown of his head, which had shown the most thinning.
“My hairline was actually fine,” Kanah said. “It was mainly the crown area and donor site that needed attention.”

Hair follicles were harvested from the back of Kanah’s head — known as the “donor area” — and carefully transplanted to the thinning crown.
“I had 4,000 grafts done, which comes to about 8,000 individual hairs implanted,” Kanah explained, noting that if his hairline had also been adjusted, the procedure would have required an even higher number of grafts.
