As if we needed another reason to love Keanu Reeves, TV producer Andrew Kimmel gave fans a snippet of his experience with the actor on a flight as an observer. Back in 2022, Kimmel witnessed Keanu’s conduct towards a young fan. To put things into context, Keanu had just got off an 8-hour flight from London to NYC. At the baggage claim, Keanu was under no stress, and was gracious enough to answer every question a young fan had for him.

Kimmel recalls, “A young boy asked for an autograph at baggage & then began to fire off a series of rapid-fire questions. Keanu happily responded to every single one.”

It seems like Keanu got an interrogation from the fan more than anything else.

Being the class act that he is, Keanu also stopped for a photo alongside the onlooker. Reeves certainly is one of a kind when it comes to traveling. He rarely takes private flights and typically doesn’t travel with security around him, unlike major A-list Hollywood celebs.

An emergency landing took place during Keanu’s flight on United Airlines, from San Francisco, to Burbank, California. Most would assume Keanu would opt for private transportation after the flight landed in Bakersfield. Once again, this was not the case… Keanu waited alongside his fellow passengers, and took a 2-hour van ride to LA. In viral videos, Keanu was seen chatting up with passengers, and brightening the mood.

Reeves told the hosts, “I took a breath. The pilot said, ‘We lost an engine, we’re diverting.’”

Host Kelly Ripa joked the passengers likely felt secure despite the scare, knowing that Keanu was on the flight.

Over on Reddit, Keanu received the highest praise among the fans for his conduct.

One user wrote, “He’s truly, genuinely a great guy. He realizes that people are just people, and we all have an expiration date, and therefore while we remain on this planet, why not treat each other kindly regardless of our financial and social status … Love him.”

“There were many years where I led a bit of a gipsy life. I worked and then came back to Los Angeles. I rented houses. After a while I felt like I wanted to have a home.”

“And so for a couple of years I went looking and looking. And I had a wonderful experience. When you walk into a place and you go, ‘Oh, this is it, this is it’. So I was able to live in that place, the home where I live now.” He added, “It gives you something, you know, it’s a safe place, a place to rest, a place to think, to entertain. It’s great to have it”.

Keanu Reeves sold his Hawaii getaway home in May of 2015.

Keanu’s Hollywood HIlls home is said to be worth $8.07 million, and is on 5,607 sqaure-feet of land. Despite his high net worth, the home is simple compared to other top tier actors. It includes two bedrooms, three baths, and a .41 acre lot.
