Caitlyn Jenner Reflects on Estrangement from Kardashians and Life After Fame
Caitlyn Jenner has opened up about her increasingly distant relationship with the Kardashian family, coinciding with her appearance in the Sky documentary House of Kardashian. In an interview with The Sun, the 73-year-old revealed she now has minimal contact with her stepdaughters Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as her ex-wife Kris Jenner.
Jenner admitted she hasn’t spoken to Kim or Kris in some time, marking a clear emotional and personal separation from the family she once lived with for decades. Tensions appear to have escalated with the release of the documentary’s teaser, which reportedly left Kris “furious.”
Reflecting on her journey since coming out publicly as a trans woman over eight years ago, Jenner shared that she now feels liberated from the pressure to conform to beauty standards. While she once fixated on her appearance during the early stages of her transition, she now takes comfort in simply “waking up in the morning and being myself.”
Despite the current rift, Jenner looks back on Keeping Up With The Kardashians with appreciation. She cherishes the memories of watching her daughters Kendall and Kylie grow up during the show’s more than 400-episode run.
Jenner expressed pride in her children’s accomplishments, praising Kendall and Kylie’s close bond and highlighting Kylie’s entrepreneurial success with Kylie Cosmetics. She also commended Kim Kardashian’s drive and the impact of her business ventures like SKIMS.
Addressing the public fascination with her wealth, Jenner offered a candid reminder: money doesn’t guarantee happiness. She shared that she found contentment even during modest times, emphasizing that fulfillment comes from authenticity—not financial status.
Today, Jenner’s story is one of resilience, transformation, and a deep commitment to living life on her own terms.
