Dolly Parton has postponed her Las Vegas concerts by nearly a year, telling fans she needs more time to focus on her health before taking the stage.
The 79-year-old icon shared the news in an Instagram post on Sunday, Sept. 28. “I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,” she wrote. “I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see.”
Parton did not specify the nature of her health challenges but promised the shows will go on once she is able to deliver the performance her fans expect.
