Sandra Bullock is returning to acting after a two-year hiatus following the death of her partner, Bryan Randall, in 2023. The 60-year-old actress was recently seen in Beverly Hills, expressing optimism about the future and readiness to reengage with her career and the public.

Bullock is set to star alongside Nicole Kidman in Practical Magic 2, the sequel to their 1998 film. Warner Bros. confirmed their return with a teaser video featuring the actresses reciting a witchy chant, announcing the release date as September 18, 2026.  The sequel will also see the return of Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing as their aunts, Franny and Jet. New cast members include Joey King, Maisie Williams, Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña, and Solly McLeod.

During her break from acting, Bullock focused on her children and personal healing. Now, as she eases back into her career, she remains dedicated to family while embracing new opportunities.
