‘RHOP’ Star Wendy Osefo and Husband Eddie Arrested on Multiple Fraud Charges

Dr. Wendy Osefo of The Real Housewives of Potomac and her husband Eddie Osefo were arrested on October 9, 2025, in Westminster, Maryland, on multiple fraud‑related charges. Wendy faces 16 counts, including seven felony charges for allegedly providing false or misleading information, plus a misdemeanor for making a false statement to law enforcement. Eddie is reportedly facing 18 charges, including nine felonies, connected with the same alleged fraudulent scheme.

The charges are tied to a 2024 burglary claim the couple filed, alleging designer goods and jewelry worth $450,000 were stolen from their home while they were on vacation in Jamaica.  However, investigators found inconsistencies: some items reportedly stolen had been returned for refunds earlier, and Wendy was seen wearing one of the “stolen” rings in social media posts after the alleged theft. The burglary report also lacked evidence of a forced entry consistent with their claim.

The Osefos were booked and released on $50,000 bonds each. The couple has not issued a detailed public response but are expected to contest the charges.
